Hello again. There's certainly a lot of activity around here! I finally got around to reading most of Matt's big post on the MB, which impelled me back to this blog where it took me a while to catch up on all the posts I've missed.
The school year is getting into full swing here. My jury (postponed from last year, where I play the flute and am judged by a panel of music professors) is next Friday -- eek! I've gotten a job as the music computer lab admin assistant; it will be interesting to see how that goes. Music geek + computer geek = ideal job! At least that's what I'm hoping. Though the pay is fairly minimal, it will be better than nothing.
I'll try to keep up reading posts here better in future. (My most regular internet activity (aside from email) is probably in my LJ.) School alone keeps me incredibly busy, and I'm involved in way too many extracurricular activities to boot. (Vocal jazz, Choral Society, a liturgical/musical play. Auditioning for the pit orchestra of Fiddler on the Roof next week too, and trying out for the cast if I don't get in.)
A few notes with regards to blog postings:
Thanks to those who replied to my first post - as Dana says, it makes one feel loved :-)
Matt: I'd love to hear the *.wav of your commentation (is that a word?)

Hey folks - can I just say "w00t"? OK: w00t! I have just been to my postgraduate induction (orientation) evening, and earlier today I got offered a part-time job in a stationery store. So it looks like finally my life is starting to gel a bit :-) I hope to hear from this choir I want to sing with soon, whether they'll let me audition. Anyway, *bounce* Nattie 9:26:00 PM

well my material is all original! It's barely worth saying once, let alone repeating!!!
It's a beautiful sunny spring day here but very windy which is annoying... Wellington is said to be the windiest city in the world and I am perched on the side of a hill. i have been wondering how much Irish blood is in Emile! :-)
Started a new page for the WL season at the site and already breaking records for the site. The perhaps sad thing is that the site gets more popular as I lose interest in it. I really need to get to work on getting it up to daye but... I can't be stuffed!
oh well back to work, an article for Jess and another JAM page to be done today... Dean 8:53:00 PM

Just got me some breakfast and got to thinking: have any of you lot adopted WL-isms into everyday speech? Ben and I call cornflakes, crinflukes, and have to really watch that we pronounce it the normal way in public :) We also say a lot of "I have nothing to say, I just really like this [whatever we're referring to]". But then again, we're silly, and we're dorky in the same way so it's really just as well we're married :-) (Did I mention I quite like my husband?) Nattie 10:20:00 AM

Welcome to Jurassic Park, Hebb! You've just reminded me how badly I need to organise our photo collections here at home. We've got photo envelopes all over the bloody place right now, and we're going to try to a) find them all, b) put them in order, c) chuck the good ones in an album, d) organise the negatives, and e) put the rest of the prints in a storage box. Gaaaaah. On top of that we really need to reorganise at home. Ngaa. Nattie 1:27:00 PM

Well, after some effort on some other fellow posters part...I have arrived! :)
I actually spent the weekend sorting and going through all of my 'Whoser' related photographs!! I never realized how many pictures of Colin I have compared to any other cast mate! *L*
Hope everyone had a great weekend!! JennD 10:20:00 PM
Haloscan, the comments provider, seems to be down at the moment. I'm thinking of looking into other comments facilities, TBH, as they've been down twice this week alone. We'll see :-) Nattie 1:49:00 PM
