You know you haven't posted in a long time when you can't remember your login name.

Sheesh.

Anyway, I'm still here at university, bogged down with rehearsals, work, and overdue papers. There have been a lot of exciting happenings in my life, but they've kept me so busy, I haven't been able to write about them (here or in my journal)! Let's see...

I was a sort of jack-of-all-trades (gofer? swing?)--choir, "dancing" chorus, percussion--in a musical drama earlier this month. The script was put together by people in this small-town community, and the music was written/adapted by a couple music professors and R. Murray Schafer. The performances went over well and plans are being set in place for a performance at the Atlantic Music Festival, where it would be the only amateur piece. Unfortunately, this will be in June, when I've been kicked out of residence.

My beloved Choral Society was the only non-auditioned choir to perform in a (bilingual) choral concert in Moncton (the only bilingual city in Canada); the concert was taped for CBC Radio and will (apparently) be broadcast nationally a few days before Christmas. It went well, despite much poor planning by the organizers (not our director). Now, we're starting work on Brahms's German Requiem--yikes!

I'm getting some people together to form a recorder consort (or at least some sort of ensemble) for a short informal performance coming up next week.

And my roommate moved out. She has wanted a single room since the end of last year, and she found one off-campus.

i have next to nothing to say. climber boys are fun. so are camp tenors. so are... well, boys in general. i enjoy them. which is why i'm such a lesbian ;-)
